Cofactor A non-protein molecule that must bind to an enzyme before that enzyme can fully function. Concave Curving inward, much like the interior of a sphere. Found in The Frisbee . View Article 38 . Conductor A material or object that permits an electric current to flow easily. Cones Light sensitive nerves in the retina able to detect bright light and colors; responsible for visual acuity. Found in Shedding Light on Blindness . View Article 40 . Conservative tracer A method of testing the properties of water quality in which a chemical is released into the water, then monitored.
