151 . Pneumatic
Of, relating to, or using gas (as air or wind); moved or worked by air pressure; adapted for holding or inflated with compressed air; having air-filled cavities.

An instrument for recording thoracic movements or volume change during respiration.

153 . Polygraph
An instrument for recording variations of several different pulsations (as of physiological variables) simultaneously.

154 . Polyimide
A synthetic polymeric resin of a class resistant to high temperatures, wear, and corrosion, used primarily as a coating or film. In Smart Ski technology, polyimides are used as a protective shell to encase internal piezoelectric ceramics.

155 . Polymerase Chain Reaction
Using Taq polymerase (a special heat-resistant DNA polymerase) and primers to amplify specific sections of the genome; the sections are replicated exponentially.

An implant designed to replace a particular portion of the ossicular chain.

A gyroscopic principle in which torque is distributed equally around a spinning body, preventing it from flipping or falling.
